Website thumbnail/iframe scale integration into another website.

Building a modern website directory requires besides of each website description integration of its thumbnail/scaled iframe.

Every script we work on, include text forms with characters counter and limit.

The basic requirements to this program are:

  • Pure JavaScript, no frameworks.
  • As simple as possible.
  • Count text field characters.
  • Display characters count in a separate field.
  • Stop counting on getting to 0 (zero).
  • Limit new characters input on getting to 0 (zero)

As a solution of displaying large lists is

  • Splitting the list into small portions.
  • Displaying one list portion per page.
  • Setting up a menu with possibility to navigate between pages.

Pagination menu coding is a time consuming job.

How to facilitate our web service utilization by adding a Copy to Clipboard Button.

The Copy to Clipboard feature appears to be very helpful for website users, as they usually don’t know how to copy content, or don’t think they need a content copy (the copy button is just a hook that makes them click copy button), or they have to run same copy to cllipboard operation multiple times on the same page and one click copy button would save them their time and efforts…

We hear here and there Keep your information private, use proxy servers and you will never be detected.


A series of questions appear around “proxy mystery”:

  • Is information about your IP address hidden.
  • Is information about your browser hidden.
  • Is information about your computer hidden.


If you can easily hide information, can you simulate another user or another browser by changing the IP addresses and browser headers:

  • Can you change the IP address.
  • Can you simulate a browser.
  • Can you simulate a real visitor using proxy servers.

Characters Count. jQuery. Count Up, Count Down, Character Limit

Overwhelming majority of websites use forms for different purposes. Most forms use text fields or textareas. Many forms require characters counting or data limitations by the number of characters.
Characters are usually counted after form submission by the data processing languages, but along with internet development friendly interfaces became a must.

Submitting a form with character limitations user would like to know when the limit is reached before data is submitted.

As an appropriate language for creating friendly interfaces, character counting and data limitations is JavaScript and the most popular JavaScript library – jQuery.

jQuery check/uncheck checkbox

Using groups of checkboxes in modern web programs is not a rare thing.
Groups of checkboxes are frequently used on group actions like selecting multiple options from a list then doing a operation over the selected list.
Check/uncheck operation is pretty simple over a small group of options: like selecting 3 checkboxes out of 3. But what if there is necessary to select between 50 or even more options? what if it is necessary to select all 50 checkboxes?

To make life easier we can use jQuery to solve this.
